In this variant of Zöllner illusion, the comparison stimulus is located within the manipulative stimulus itself. Even lines are fixed and serve as a comparison stimulus, while odd lines are movable. The task is to adjust the even and odd lines to the parallel position. The task is controlled exclusively with the keyboard.

Within the same research, it is possible to change 1 of 5 different variables and observe the effect of the selected range of the independent variable on the dependent variables (absolute and relative error). At the end of the task, the correlation between the selected variable and the dependent variables is calculated.
