Tone Duration Estimation Task

Run this application online

Each task reproduces a tone of variable length and constant frequency (3kHz).

After the tone playback and delay period are completed, the user should enter an estimate of the tone length (tone duration).

Descriptive and inferential statistics (probabilities for bivariate correlation) are printed at the end of the task.

A limited number of settings can be changed within the application.

The application has been tested on the following web browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera (Internet Explorer 11 is not supported). We mainly develop all our web applications in the Firefox browser. Therefore, generally speaking, the new version of Firefox is always the most secure solution for reliable use of our web applications.
